Now is a beautiful time to come out to Cloverfield Organic Farm to enjoy the verdant green fields and colorful flowers that are so abundant this time of year.
Items we have in good quantity to u-pick in March include mustard greens, fenugreek (aka methi), arugula, fava bean leaves, and California bay leaves. We should also have some kale, collards, komatsuna, parsley, cilantro, green onions, beets, Swiss chard, pak choy, pea greens & tendrils, thyme, green garlic, rau ram, rosemary, wormwood, Greek oregano, sheep sorrel, catnip, stinging nettles, lemon balm, ginger, Thai lime leaves, and mint. At the end of March, there might be a treasure to find of tender new asparagus sprouts. There are likely to be a few limes and lemons to u-pick too.

Cherry blossoms in early March, for example, are a feast for the eyes and promise sweet fruits to be u-picked later in the year. We've planted 20 more fruit trees this winter and all of the fruit trees are coming back into leaf and flowering. Each year we have more organic tree fruits to offer.

Organic flowers that can be u-picked in March include calendulas, borage, calla lilies, violas, cornflowers, and daffodils.

We have a nice selection of organic potted edible plants for you to grow in your own garden. You can see the wide variety of plants growing in the ground as you tour the farm grounds, then pick out a potted plant to purchase and plant. We also sell organic compost and Cloverfield soil mix, organic fertilizer, and wood chip mulch.
In our farm shed we have Cloverfield Raw Honey and packages of dried organic herbs and seeds for sale. We also sell these packaged products online and they can be shipped.
We hope you will come visit Cloverfield Organic Farm and u-pick what brings you health and delight from our garden beds and orchard. We are located at 501 La Paloma Road in El Sobrante, California, 94803. We have free parking. Our open u-pick hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from 11 - 4 in early March, and after we switch to Daylight Savings Time our hours will be noon to 5. If you visit during our open hours you don't need a reservation. We accept cash, cards, Venmo, and EBT.
Other visiting times, guided horse interactions, picnics, and events can be scheduled on our website. We welcome youth groups, clubs, classes, and groups of friends to come be educated and inspired.
