2026 Fall Organic Farm Workshop

1 min read

Howdy!!

We are inviting volunteers to come out to work with us at our farm for a few hours on Thursday, October 29. We will start at 11 AM and finish up at about 2 PM. Having volunteers come to the farm once each season helps us continue farming and providing educational experiences for the many visitors and u-pick customers that come to our farm.

Depending on the number of volunteers who sign up, we have the following projects in mind:

1) Vegetable bed preparation

2) Organic soil amendments and fertilization

3) Garlic planting

4) Cover-crop seeding

5) Organic herb processing.

No prior experience is needed and we will provide volunteers with all the instructions and tools that are needed. Please wear sturdy shoes and clothes you don't mind getting dirty. We will hold the event under any weather conditions, so dress for the weather. If you have your own garden gloves, that would be great or we can sell you a pair of new garden gloves for $6/pair. We will also have some bottled water and light snacks.

If you wish to join in the fun, please let us know by emailing me (Susan Truscott) at Cloverfield@gmail.com

I found this guide quite practical, especially the reminder to review the budget every month rather than treating it as a one-off task. The point about care costs changing after a fall, illness, or hospital visit is something families could easily overlook when planning ahead. I also thought the breakdown of different care types and their monthly cost ranges made the topic easier to understand. In the middle of studying or working on things like a Business Plan Assignmen writing service, it’s easy to forget how many real-life factors need careful financial planning. I’m curious whether costs can vary significantly even between nearby towns, as location seems to have a big impact here.

One interesting point is that functional changes may appear before visible body-composition changes. The article notes that improvements in energy, fatigue, workout recovery, libido, or mood can occur before noticeable changes in muscle or abdominal fat. It also explains that physical changes tend to develop gradually as testosterone levels become more stable. This provides a more realistic picture than expecting an immediate transformation.
