2026 November U-Picking at Cloverfield Organic Farm

2 min read

We continue to invite visitors and u-pickers to our farm in November. We change the clock and adjust our regular u-pick hours on Sunday, November 1. Our Winter hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from eleven am to four pm. Private tours, group visits, and events can be reserved at other times on our website.

November days are shorter and the breezes are crisp and cool at Cloverfield Organic Farm. We stay open even on rainy days, so bring your rainwear if you visit on a rainy day.

We have some pretty edible flowers in abundance that can be u-picked. There is a chance of a light frost just around the corner. Our Summer crops of tomatoes and squash are almost finished, but a few might still hang on for a few more weeks if we don't get a frost.

Here are some of the crops we expect to have for visitors to u-pick (or u-dig) this time of the year: arugula, peppers, pak choy, red trumpet and komatsuna cabbage, fennel, bay leaves, Kaffir lime leaves, radishes, beets, kale, collard greens, dandelion greens, green onions, rhubarb, lettuce, pea sprouts, collard greens, horseradish roots, parsley, rosemary, thyme, ginger roots, calendula flowers, Malabar spinach, prickly pears, and pineapple sage.

Please come to our small bio-intensive organic farm to taste fresh fruits, flowers, herbs, and vegetables that are grown outdoors in the natural sunlight in microbially-rich soil. Wander among the diverse vegetable, herb, and flower beds and enjoy the fenced orchards. Let us know if you are brave and want to sample a taste of Absinthe wormwood.

New plantings we are starting during the late Fall and into Winter are garlic, shallots, mustard, peas, spinach, fava beans, cilantro, lettuce, and fenugreek. We are open every week of the year, so as crops are u-picked we have to start new crops growing in their place.

Our farm healing horse, Magic Ben, will be released from his wild pasture to interact with visitors during our regular open hours. More engaging, private, sessions with Magic Ben are also available.

We welcome you into our farm shed, where we also sell our raw Cloverfield honey, Black Point organic extra=virgin olive oil, and dried herbs and seeds. We are also a certified organic plant nursery. We have a good number of perennial herbs, raspberry plants, strawberry plants, and asparagus crowns for sale.

Cloverfield Organic Farm is located at 501 La Paloma Rd., El Sobrante, CA, 94803. Free parking is readily available (as long as we don't get flooding rain).

Hope to see you at the farm soon!
