2026 August Cloverfield Farm Update

Days are still long, and fruits, flowers, herbs, and vegetables continue to grow and ripen into the summer at Cloverfield Organic Farm.

You can refer to to our expected fruit ripening times, but this year our fruits are ripening a few weeks earlier than usual. We had a warm spell in late winter that brought our fruit trees into bloom early.

Our farm shed is well-stocked with raw unfiltered Cloverfield honey, dried organic herbs, and a few different organic seeds. Everything being sold in our shed has been grown and packaged at our farm. Some herbs we grow include: anise hyssop, apple mint, Absinthe wormwood, artichoke thistle, avocado leaves, bay leaves, calendula flowers and seeds, catnip, chamomile, chocolate mint, cornflowers, culinary sage, epazote, eucalyptus leaves, fennel seeds, fenugreek, Greek oregano, Cascade hops, lemon balm, lemon verbena, nettles, olive leaves, orange mint, pomegranate flowers, rau ram leaves, rosehips, rosemary, sheep sorrel, St. John's wort, strawberry mint, thyme, and yarrow flowers. We have a few certified-organic seeds of Hopi red amaranth, anise hyssop, epazote, cornflower, lion's tail, Manzano pepper, marshmallow, quinoa, red-stem Malabar spinach, sunflowers, Scarlet Runner beans, and Good Mother Stallard beans.

Fresh organic vegetables, herbs, and flowers can all be u-picked during our open hours, or by appointment. Our regular farm open hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from noon to five. August fruits include Hosui pears, Summer Delight apriums, autumn berries, a few apples, late apricots, blackberries, grapes, elderberries, and possibly a few figs. August vegetables include dill, tomatoes, squashes, parsley, peppers, sorrel, cucumbers, kale, Swiss chard, and collards. Edible flowers include dahlias, sunflowers, hollyhocks, and cosmos.
