Come and purchase hardy and productive certified-organic tomato plants from Cloverfield Organic Farm to grow in your own garden.
Every year at Cloverfield Organic Farm we like to grow a diverse and interesting selection of delicious tomato varieties. This year will be no exception. Our certified-organic tomato plants are seeded and grown completely outdoors, so they are a bit later than some greenhouse-grown seedlings you might find at the big nurseries. May, June, and early July are great months to plant tomato plants in your garden in the Bay Area. Our San Francisco Bay Area season is long and tomatoes will continue to ripen well into the Fall.
Here are the wonderful tomato varieties we've planted this year:
Galahad

Pork Chop

New Girl

Esterina

Mountain Vineyard

Rugby

Peacevine Cherry

Pink Boar

Pink Berkeley Tie Dye

Atomic Sunset

Bodacious

Tomatoes grow best in soil that is amended with organic compost and an organic fertilizer that slowly releases nitrogen. We sell our Cloverfield soil mix and 'magic mix' fertilizer. Ask us to blend some up for you.
There is nothing as good as a freshly-picked ripe organic tomato! We offer u-picking at our farm year-round, but tomato season may be a favorite time for many. Our tomato u-picking season is typically from mid-August to early November.
Come to our farm located at 501 La Paloma Rd., El Sobrante, CA 94803. Our regular open hours are Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from noon to five. No appointment is needed during our open hours and we have free parking. We accept most forms of payment, including cash, cards, Venmo, and EBT.
