We have small amounts of several different things (all certified organic!) that you can u-pick into a farm basket in late April and early May. A farm basket of about 7 different things that you u-pick fresh from the garden is $30. Our potted plants range in price from $5 to $15 each. We have dried herbs, seeds, raw honey, and organic olive oil in the shed and the items in the shed are individually packaged and priced (from $1 to $23).
We are waiting for the tree fruits to come into season. It is possible there might be a few strawberries. Other things to u-pick include bay leaves, chocolate mint, apple mint, Greek oregano, Greek mountain tea, nettles, mustard greens, arugula, nopales, garlic chives, green garlic, green onions, fava beans and fava leaves, rhubarb, kales and collards, lettuce, spinach, chamomile, borage, calendulas, fennel, sweetheart roses, sage, rosemary, rau ram, lemon balm, lemon verbena, kohlrabi, parsley, and a few other things that don’t immediately come to mind.
Our regular u-pick hours are on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays (this time of year) from noon to five. You don’t need a reservation to come u-pick during our regular u-pick hours. We have alternate times for private events on our website, which we schedule at least five days in advance. If you wish to add-on a private session with Magic Ben the medicine horse within five days of your visit, please call Karen Rose Mathews so she can let you know when she might be available and could perhaps host your private horse interaction.
