We welcome visitors and u-pickers every month of the year. We offer inspiring beauty, fresh organic vegetables and herbs, organic flowers, and fruits that can be u-picked. We have packaged items in the farm shed, including seeds and herbs, and also our jars of raw unfiltered Cloverfield honey. We also are an organic plant nursery and sell a wide variety of edible organic potted plants.
February is still a chilly time of the year, but the days are noticeably lengthening and the sunshine is bringing some beautiful blossoms on the many varieties of fruit trees. Daffodils are sprouting up here and there and showing promise of the warmer spring weather that is just around the corner. Please come visit our farm in February and pick a daffodil bouquet to brighten your table! Other flowers that bloom now include borage, violas, calla lilies, and calendulas.

We appreciate the chilly and wet weather, even though it sometimes isn't that comfortable to be out in it. The winter chilling is needed for the many dormant fruit trees, grapevines, and fruit bushes to develop their flowers properly for good fruit set. In spite of the weather, we will be open for visitors and u-picking every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Regular open hours on these days each week are 11 - 4, and other visiting times can be reserved with some advance planning. We find the cool weather invigorating and we are able to get lots of work done.
Two fruits that ripen and can be u-picked in February are Meyer Lemons and Bearss Persian Limes.

The vegetable beds are lush with leafy greens, including pak choy, komatsuna, lettuce, parsley, kales, Swiss chard, mustards, arugula, and green onions/garlic. Flavorful herbs are also abundant....bay leaves, Thai lime leaves, cilantro, rau ram, rosemary, wormwood, thyme, motherwort, fenugreek, thyme, and mints.

Late in February is a fun time to see glorious flowers on several of our different fruit trees, including plums, pluots, and peaches. Our honey bees really love this time of the year. Hope you can come to our farm and feast your eyes on this beautiful sight!
There is no entrance fee to come visit during our regular open hours. We have free parking. You pay for what you pick or purchase out of our farm shop in the shed.
