Winter Organic Farming Workshop

Updated: Dec 27, 2019

Once each season we invite volunteers to come work with us at the farm. It is a tremendous learning experience, and many hands make light work. Projects we have planned are grape pruning, seeding cover crop, mulching of asparagus, vegetable seed starting, and more.

We will have activities suitable for all ages and abilities.

Please email Susan Truscott at Cloverfield@gmail.com if you will be coming. If there is a particular thing you are interested in learning about, please let us know and we will try to cover it.

Also, if you have your own hand pruning shears and garden gloves, please bring them. We will have a few tools to share but you might prefer having your own. We have limited space for cars to park at the bottom of the hill next to the vegetable garden and orchard. If the ground is muddy, please park to one side of the driveway and that way your car won't get stuck in the mud.

We will supply some light snacks and Starbucks coffee. You may want to bring a water bottle to slake your thirst while you are working.

Hope to see you soon!
