Spring is in the air at Cloverfield Organic Farm. Our organic plant nursery is well-stocked with a wide variety of potted plants that thrive in the Bay Area. Nursery plant prices vary depending on the size of the plant or pot and the time and work it takes to grow the plants to marketable size.
Come to Cloverfield Organic Farm and check out the nursery tables and borders in the fenced vegetable garden.
Some plants we have in stock now include strawberries, asparagus, grapevines, yarrow, sage, chocolate mint, apple mint, strawberry mint, absinthe wormwood, motherwort, comfrey, rau ram, rhubarb, garlic chives, gandana leeks, culinary chives, marshmallow, lemon balm, Peruvian goldenberry, daylilies, pineapple sage, aloe vera, Cecile Brunner rose, two varieties of elderberry, fig trees, yellow ginger, sunchokes, currants, catnip, treasure flowers, medlars, autumn berries, and artichokes. New plants are constantly being added and our inventory changes over time.
To help you with your planting and to ensure success at growing, we also sell our Cloverfield "Magic Mix" fertilizer, wood chips, and Cloverfield soil mix. All our plants, produce, and soil amendments are approved for organic growing.
Cloverfield Organic Farm is open to the public for u-picking, nursery plants, and purchases of soil amendments, dried herbs, raw honey, and seeds every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Hours are 11 -4 until we change to daylight savings time on March 9, when the new open hours will be noon to 5. Reserved visits at other times, horse interactions, and picnics can be booked on our website. We have free parking, and there is no entry fee during our regular open hours.
