We are in a transitional season at Cloverfield Organic Farm, where we switch from summer vegetables to our winter crops. Throughout this month we will be harvesting the last of the tomatoes, squashes, and amaranth grain. We will be planting peas, carrots, cabbages, broccoli, Swiss chard, beets, and kale.
Fall is a beautiful season to come visit the farm and u-pick fresh organic produce right from the garden beds. Fall is also a great time to purchase and plant potted organic edibles. Our nursery is well stocked with a number of perennial edible organic potted plants, including fig trees, grape vines, autumn berries, strawberries, comfrey, milkweed, aloe vera, artichokes, rhubarb, chocolate mint, strawberry mint, treasure flowers, sage, and more.
Every single week of the year we are seeding and transplanting new crops into our diverse garden beds. We grow everything in healthy organic-rich soil, under the sun, without any synthetic inputs or any toxic 'cides'.

We will be holding our fall seasonal volunteer day on Thursday, October 31. We welcome volunteers to come give us a hand and learn about the seasonal chores that keep our farm productive year-round. We plan to focus on planting garlic and seeding cover crop during this event. The hours will be from 10 am to 2 pm. If you wish to come volunteer, please email us at cloverfield@gmail.com
We are open for farm visitors and u-picking every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from noon to five. We are located at 501 La Paloma Rd., El Sobrante, California. There is no entry fee during our regular open hours and we have free parking. You pay for what you pick or purchase at the end of your visit.
