July is Peak Plum & Pluot Season

All through the month of July, different varieties of plums and pluots are ripening and are ready for u-picking at Cloverfield Organic Farm. Reserve a private tour & u-pick, or join the other farm visitors during our open hours on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from noon to five.

Small California Wild Plums are some of the first plums to ripen, and they continue ripening over a month or more. They produce sweet, small, juicy fruits in shades of yellow, orange, and red. These wild plums are the size of large cherries and some people call them 'cherry plums'.

Dapple Supreme Pluots are a bit bigger in size than the wild plums, and are richly colored and flavored.
