3-Hour Guided Small Group Tour, Picnic and U-Pick Event

Service Description

Bring a small group of up to 9 attendees to experience the farm either during quiet hours outside of our regular open hours, or with a dedicated tour guide during regular open hours. Event includes a 1-hour guided tour, tables and chairs in our picnic area, and an opportunity to u-pick what's ripe and ready. Bring a small youth group, club, tourist group, or a few friends together to learn and nourish themselves in the bounty of the farm. There is also an opportunity to do a bit of u-picking of fresh fruits, herbs, flowers, and vegetables. We charge by the item or 'bunch' at the end of your tour and u-pick event. We provide you with cardboard containers, a harvest basket and clippers. As needed, we have pole pickers that you can use. Potted plants and packaged herbs and honey are individually priced. U-picked items are sold by the 'bunch'. Examples of a bunch can be a pint of fruit or tomatoes, a half-pint of small berries, a handful bunch of edible flowers, a large nopales cactus pad, about 8 stalks of rhubarb (enough for a pie), a few zucchini, a single Carnival squash, a handful of individual or mixed fresh herbs, or a small bag of greens.
