Perilla frutescens.  This is the traditional Korean green perilla.  It has a fresh minty, citrus and anise taste.  The dried herb can be made into a delicious healthful tea or added to dishes to give a bright flavor.  
 
Our perilla is certified organic by OCIA and The Real Organic Project.  It is grown outdoors in the full sun in rich organic soil.
